Proposals for the refurbishment of an existing tower block in East London. As well as reconfiguring the flat layouts and bringing the interiors up to Decent Homes standards, the proposal aimed to make a run down and undesirable tower block into a positive local landmark and an exciting place to live. A radical transformation of the exterior provided flats with large decorative balconies and sun screens as well as revitaising the monotonous appearance of the tower.
